Timbers 2 on schedule

On 14 October, the first Project Steering Committee meeting was held in Wageningen, and it reached the conclusion that the project had a flying start and is on schedule.
The ITTO / PROTA project PD 479/07 took off on 1 January 2009. The 3-year project concerns PROTA 7(2): Timbers 2, and will result in 300 review articles on about 600 timber species.

The PSC meeting was followed by an Editor meeting on 15 October to discuss implementation details. In the context of this project, a Wood Anatomy Workshop (training and production) will be held in September 2010 in Kumasi, Ghana.
