PROTA Tropical Africa
Tropical Africa for the purpose of PROTA includes the 47 countries situated for the greater part between the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn (see Map of Tropical Africa). Northern Africa (6 countries) and southern Africa (3 countries) are clearly subtropical and have very distinct (mediterranean and cape) floras.
